The Mind… The Battleground!

Philippians 4:8

“Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.”

One of my favorite scriptures. I have taught so many times about being “intentional” about where your mind goes. Takes a lot of practice but it is life changing! Your mind is like a hard drive…it can only hold so much. You can cancel out the “stuff” you don’t want on there by “deleting” and then bringing up the more productive, positive and uplifting data.

Eventually your “memory” will only hold what you decide you want it to! Takes a little time to “intentionally” override all the stuff, but eventually you will do it. Then it becomes a habit and those things will not even have a place on your “hard drive.” God can help you do it!

“If at first you don’t succeed…try, try again.” Not a scripture but still a truth!
