Trusting in Him and Romans 8:28

Sent this to a very special friend that God put in my life who is going through some rough “stuff” right now. Then I thought maybe God would want me to share it with anyone else who might need some encouragement today. God bless!

“I am so sorry that things are so hard right now…in every area. But one thing I know for absolute certainty…God is with you in the midst of all of it, and He will work it all to your good! Those may just seem like words to you right now…while it is all going on…but you will look back and see the truth of them down the road. Sometimes, what seems like the worst of life’s situations, causes us to take a really good look at our lives and decide some things have to change. And change is necessary for the entire and complete progression of our life, if we are ever going to grow and reach the place God has for us. Some things are taken out of our life and heart…and some are put in. It has to be that way…for healing and restoration from the damage that circumstances, and even people, have done to us…when we didn’t know God, and those around us really didn’t either. Choices were made that had consequences…but…and here is the REALLY GOOD NEWS…God is in the healing and restoration business!

The 23rd Psalm says “He restoreth MY soul!” And for the last almost forty years He has been doing just that! This all is like surgery…it is necessary…AND it is a pain unto healing …not a pain unto death! Even though there have been moments along the way that it sure didn’t feel that way! Just trust Him! He was there at your beginning and He will be there at your end…and He has you covered in everything in between!!!

When your heart is overwhelmed…turn to Him…He knows and understands!

When you can’t find the words to express it…He will hear your HEART cry out! (I know that because when I couldn’t even pray, and He answered me anyway…I asked Him how He could do that, when I couldn’t even find the words…He said, “I heard your heart cry out!” How awesome is that!)

When you don’t understand what is going on…and it makes no sense to you….trust Him…He sees further and deeper than you do!

When you can’t see His hand working on your behalf…trust that His heart is totally committed to you, and your well-being!

There are absolutely no empty spaces in your heart, or life, that He cannot fill!

There is no weakness in your life that He cannot give you the strength to overcome!

There is no fear He cannot put to flight!

There is no mountain of circumstance He cannot move!

There is no need He cannot supply!

When you have poured your love, and heart, into people and they don’t give it back to you…just let Him love you…and keep pouring your heart into the lives of others anyway…He sees it! He will be your reward!

These things I have said to you…I KNOW them to be true, with every fiber of my being! He has proven them to me…I have almost forty years of experience! Some have said, “Well, Louise, you just have a lot of faith!”  Not true! I have gone into most situations the same as anyone else …scared …hurt…weary…and wondering what in the world was going on! But guess what…God showed up! And now what I have is PROOF! He is, was, and always will be faithful to you! JUST TRUST HIM…AND KEEP WALKING…YOU CAN DO THIS!”
