I was reading in Exodus about when Moses was dealing with the Pharoah concerning the plague of the frogs. Pharoah wanted him to have God get rid of the frogs. Moses asked him when he wanted him to “entreat” God to remove the frogs.
Pharoah answered, “Tomorrow.”
Why not today? Did he want just one more day with the frogs? He was postponing his own deliverance from the consequences of his disobedience to God. Why? I guess he just wanted to feel like he was still in control of his kingdom…even if it made his life miserable! There certainly is a deep message in that, isn’t it?
Lord, please, if there are any frogs lurking around in my life, because of my disobedience….remove them TODAY! Get those stinking frogs out of here!
